The Hola 5G Oulu project brings private 5G connectivity directly to patient wards and surgical theatres - eliminating inefficiencies with wearable, wireless solutions. By freeing staff from computer screens, it empowers nurses and doctors to focus more on patients, see more cases daily, and ultimately deliver better care and outcomes.
What are the benefits of Hola 5G Oulu?
Up to 50% of doctors’ and nurses’ time is spent on computers. Manual data handling leads to errors, delays, and rising costs. Communication was slow and fragmented, often requiring staff to walk across hospital wings just to coordinate care. This project set out to change that, with a bold leap into smarter, faster, and more connected healthcare.
