Boldyn Networks strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of Julio González as Sales Director for Spain

4 February 2026 | Madrid, Spain

Boldyn Networks (Boldyn) has appointed Julio Gonzalez as Sales Director for Spain, with the aim of accelerating the company’s expansion in the Spanish market and strengthening Boldyn Networks’ leadership structure in the country.

Julio will play a pivotal role in strengthening Boldyn’s commercial presence, leading the development of new market strategies and accelerating our expansion into smart city infrastructure and our neutral-host value proposition in Spain. He will also focus on generating new customer opportunities across key industries and lead major connectivity projects across ports, airports, and transportation hubs.

With more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience across Europe and Latin America, Julio brings deep expertise in telecommunications and home connectivity from senior roles at Motorola, Commscope/Vantiva, ARRIS, and PACE plc.

Julio joins the business at a significant moment for Boldyn Networks in Spain, closely following the recent announcement of Antonino Ruggiero as the company’s new CEO. This leadership reinforcement underscores Boldyn’s commitment to scaling its operations, enhancing customer partnerships, and deepening its contribution to Spain’s digital infrastructure landscape.

Julio Gonzalez, Sales Director Spain, said: “I’m thrilled to join Boldyn Networks at such an exciting moment for the business. Spain is a market full of opportunities, and I look forward to working closely with Antonino and the team to strengthen our partnerships and drive new growth across the region.”

Antonino Ruggiero, CEO of Boldyn Networks in Spain, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Julio Gonzalez, who joins us as Sales Director Spain. Julio brings an impressive track record in business development and driving commercial growth, underpinned by more than two decades of experience. We’re confident Julio will play a key role in advancing our strategic objectives, broadening our solution portfolio, and unlocking new customer opportunities as we expand across Spain’s evolving connectivity landscape.”

Julio joined the business this week and will report directly to Antonino Ruggiero, recently appointed CEO of Boldyn Networks Spain and Italy. With this new appointment, Boldyn Networks, one of the world’s largest shared network infrastructure providers and a pioneer in the deployment of private networks, will take a further step in the country’s digital transformation, mainly through the rollout of private 5G networks in complex industrial environments such as those already developed at BASF and OPCSA.
