The gold-standard for recognizing industry excellence in digital infrastructure finance comes from Proximo. A group that honors innovative, exceptional, and influential deals voted on by their editors and market participants.  

This week, the Boldyn Networks’ New York City Subway network expansion project was named ‘Proximo North American Communications Deal of the Year.’     

The project is a game changer that will connect millions of riders in one of the largest transit systems in the world.  

With the existing Boldyn Wi-Fi in over 280 underground subway stations, this expansion will bring 5G mobile service deep into the subway tunnels so that major carriers can offer connectivity to their customers.  

The Wi-Fi network is also being expanded and service will be available on all platforms throughout the entire system.    

The award was announced during the Proximo Nashville 2024 Conference and was accepted by Boldyn Networks’ US Chief Financial Officer, Joel MacMillan, US Chief Legal Officer, Kirstie Rickett, and President of the Northeast, US, Jeff Garte.
